We’ll Take The President’s Message To Our Members – Says ASUU As FG-ASUU Meeting Ends At 3am

After hours of meeting with President Goodluck Jonathan, the President of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Dr. Nasir Fagge, said that his union will take the message from President Goodluck Jonathan to members.

The meeting between the President and ASUU leaders began at 2:40pm on Monday November 04, 2013 and ended at 3am Tuesday November 05, 2013.
At the end of the meeting, the President of ASUU simply told journalists that the union got a message from the President and would take it to its members.
However, the union didn’t state whether the meeting ended with a concession or stalemate.

The union earlier had a meeting with the President of Nigerian Senate, David Mark. After the meeting, Mr. Mark assured that the over four month old strike would be called-off soon.
