The League City high school student solicited her 'easily manipulated' friends to provide sex for Michael Wayne McIntosh at his home in Friendswood this past summer, according to Galveston County prosecutor Adam Poole.
Police started investigating after tips from Clear Creek ISD. So far they've identified more than half a dozen girls allegedly pimped out by their 17-year-old friend.
Police say Chelsey Elizabeth Taylor, 17, pushed her friends into prostitution.
Webster Police Detective David Nettles said, "It started in the summer time and went on for a few months."
Police say Taylor drove girls as young as 14 to the Friendswood home of Michael McIntosh, 62. Investigators tell us there, they would engage in sexual activates with him in exchange for money.
McIntosh's neighbor, Lindsay Diekman, said, "I mean, they're young, real skinny girls -- different girls all the time."
According to court documents, one of the victims told police Taylor brought the girls to McIntosh's because she hated him, and having sex with him. That victim told investigators Taylor believed the younger girls would "take one for the team" -- meaning they were "easily manipulated into having sex with McIntosh".
Investigators say the girls called McIntosh "Money Mike" because he spent thousands of dollars on them. One victim admitted being paid up to $1,000 per encounter. Investigators tell us Taylor took a cut for each girl she brought to McIntosh.
"It's very disturbing, shocking," said Summer Molander, one of Taylor's neighbors.
Police say they've identified eight victims so far. They received calls on potentially three others. There may be many more.
That's where police say they need your help. If you know anything about additional victims, the Webster Police Department asks you to call them. They say any underage girl who might have been involved will not be charged with any crime.
McIntosh, 62, is charged with three counts of sexual assault of a child. Taylor is charged with compelling prostitution.
