Celebrity Lunch Hour - Hosted By Mr. Phil Roberts [Abuja's Fast Rising Gospel Artiste]

The Celebrity Lunch Hour was held at Mr. Phil Robert's house on Tuesday, 30th July 2013. The meeting drew virtually the major players in the gospel entertainment scene in Abuja and also had representatives from major media houses in Abuja. 

The meeting also had representatives from Silver bird TV, Ait, Itv, Ben Tv London, X2D, 700club, Studio6naija, Naija gospel, Kiss Fm, Capital Fm, Brilla Fm, Love Fm, daily sun, Gospel city naija, Ebere Obioma's Blog, Take over team, Music directors, Record labels, music marketers, Studios and artiste managers.

After a brief interview with Mr Phil Roberts (Abuja's Fast Rising Gospel Artiste) on the reason for calling the meeting, he pointed out the fact that he was tired of seeing Gospel musicians living from hand to mouth, poor encouragement from Pastors and churches, poor representation in the entertainment industry . He also pointed out on how PMAN wasn't doing its best for gospel musicians and showed his anger on MTN, Etisalat, Glo, Airtel and other companies for not endorsing gospel musicians as their ambassadors! 
He also added that Gospel musicians will make the best of Ambassadors / representatives of every Brand because they preach live to the society! Mr Phil Roberts added that companies and other brand must learn to balance the equation in their selection of acts for their company Branding by also endorsing Gospel musicians...

    Its really high time the multinational companies, telecom firms and other big organizations in Nigeria start rolling out endorsement deals and making gospel artist and ministers as ambassadors. They will better actualize your companies mission in that way you also make them financially stable.
